BELIEVE IN HIS PROMISE

I READ: Genesis 37 : 12-36

Joseph is an example of a person who had tremendous endurance against stress and painful circumstances. From a life of abundance and a father’s beloved son, Joseph descended into a slave and a convict. In this miserable condition, not a single complaint or anger came out of his mouth. How was Joseph able to endure all of this without being disappointed and angry? It was because He knew exactly who His God was and believed in the promise that the Lord gave to his ancestor, Abraham. Believing in God’s promise made Joseph a resilient person. Many people back away from their ministries and their calling when temptations and shakings come their way. This may happen when individuals don’t focus themselves on God, on His promises, and on the truth of His Word.

I DECLARE: Hebrews 11:1 – Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.

I DO: What action will I take today after meditating on the Word of God?

I PRAY: Pray as guided by the Holy Spirit.
