I READ: John 2: 1-11
The first miracle that Jesus did when He was physically in this world was changing water into wine at a wedding in Cana. At that time, the wine that was for the guests was all gone, while at the same time the party hadn’t finished yet. Why did a miracle happen there? Because Maria, Jesus’ mother, believed in Jesus’ power and because the servants obeyed Jesus. The servants were told by Maria to listen to everything that Jesus was going to tell them to do. They obeyed Maria, and when Jesus told them to fill the jars with water and serve it to the master of the banquet, they obeyed Him, too. Even though it didn’t make sense and it would risk being fired if the water stayed as water, they did everything that Jesus told them to do. In the end, a miracle happened because of the belief and obedience of Maria and the servants.
I DECLARE: John 11: 40: Then Jesus said, “Did I not tell you that if you believe, you will see the glory of God?”
I DO: Today I want to learn to believe in God more and obey Him in everything that He tells me to do even though it might be difficult because I believe that miracles will happen.
I PRAY: Today I will pray, offering my life, my family, my ministry, and my work to God.
