I READ: Psalm 40:1-6
David was someone considered to be a man after God’s own heart. He trusted the Lord in every aspect of his life. For every decision in David’s life, he always asked the Lord for guidance, and for every instruction given, David obeyed the Lord without any hesitation. We also have the same choice as David. Do we want to fully commit our trust in the Lord? For when we fully commit our trust in the Lord as David did, we will be overcome with joy, peace, and hope in our lives; because we will have a blessed assurance when God gives us victory in all his provisions. These are the reasons why David was able to say “Blessed are those who put their trust in the Lord” and David was able to prove this by the blessings in his life.
I DECLARE: 2 Corinthians 1:10b – …in whom we trust that He will still deliver us.
