BE STRONG IN THE LORD

I READ: James 1:3-4, Proverbs 24:10, Hebrews 13:5

Sometimes trouble and distress will come to us in this life. When that time comes, as believers we must be strong in the Lord, seeing Him as our protection, calling on Him and be confident on His promise that “He will not leave us”. The one who relies on Him faithfully, is given the strength and sufficient grace to endure during difficult time. David was a worshiper. From childhood, he was good at playing the harp, a mighty warrior and able to defeat lions and bears who attacked his sheep. David had experienced difficult times in his life when he was chased by Saul to be killed. Sometimes he was not strong enough to face life. But in times of fear he always said: “I believe in You”. He knew that the source of his strength is the Lord of the universe.

I DECLARE: Yes 40:29 – He gives power to the weak, And to those who have no might He increases strength.

I DO: What action will I take today after meditating on the Word of God?

I PRAY: Pray as guided by the Holy Spirit.
