I READ: John 15:1-8
When we receive Lord Jesus as our personal Savior, the Word of God says that we are like the branches of a vine. The life and growth of those vine branches depend on how close they are to the vine root. This parable is speaking about our relationship with Jesus. When we receive Him as our Savior, we are in a relationship with Him. This relationship is meant for us to be fruitful in Christ-like characters. Jesus longs for us to bear fruits that will bless other people for His name to be glorified. Without a good relationship with the Lord Jesus, it’s impossible that we will be able to bear Christ-like characters.
I DECLARE: John 15:8 – By this My Father is glorified, that you bear much fruit; so you will be My disciples.
I DO: What actions am I going to take after meditating on the Word of God?
