Daily Verses : Mark 10 : 46 – 52
Key Verse : Mark 10 : 48 : Many rebuked him and told him to be quiet, but he shouted all the more, “Son of David, have mercy on me!”.
This is God’s third message since last Monday. God longs for us to not give up and keep waiting patiently for God’s promise until we receive it. Bartimaeus kept shouting to the Lord until He answered him. He didn’t stop shouting; he didn’t give up at all. Even though people told him to stop, he didn’t care. Faith and assurance of heart like that is what God wants. Don’t pay attention to the words that bring us down, but keep believing in God’s promises for our lives and keep knocking on Heaven’s door until God opens it up for us. Ask, and God will give it to us; seek, and God will let us find it. Believe that God isn’t a God who likes to play hide and seek and makes himself hidden from us. In fact, He is God, who looks for sinful people to give them salvation.
Heaven’s door will be opened, and the Kingdom of Heaven’s blessings will be poured out when His children keep knocking without hesitation.
Daily Action :
Whatever problem I’m facing, I will be like Bartimaeus. I will keep fervently asking God until God helps me. I do not want to be fooled by faith weakening intimidations from the devil.
Daily Declaration :
Matthew 7 : 7 – 8 : “Ask and it will be given to you; seek and you will find; knock and the door will be opened to you. For everyone who asks receives; the one who seeks finds; and to the one who knocks, the door will be opened.”
Daily Prayer :
Today I will lift up my prayer of supplication accompanied by my worship to God until I feel His presence and great love, because this is what gives me new strength.
