ASSURANCE IN DOING GREATER WORKS

I READ: John 14:7-13.

Often, when people start to believe in Jesus as their Lord and Savior, they are very passionate about serving the Lord, even if there is a price that they to pay.  Unfortunately, as time goes by, their passion for the Lord usually starts to dwindle down. As children of God, we have to remind ourselves that God did not save us for the sole purpose of our own salvation.  There is actually a special calling to do greater works so that other people are saved.  Don’t be satisfied with small ministries but let us allow God to expand them.  If we are faithful in the small things, God is going to entrust us with greater works.  To be able to do a lot of work for the Kingdom of God, we have to focus on God and the souls that we have to save.  If we are focused on blessing others and having their lives changed, we won’t feel tired or bored.  To do greater works, don’t use our own strength, but instead, ask for the Lord’s anointing and power so that the results will be maximized, and God’s name will be glorified.

I DECLARE: Psalm 145:4: “One generation shall praise Your works to another and shall declare Your mighty acts.”

I DO:  Let God be my helper so that I can be faithful living in His calling.

I PRAY: I pray so that there is unity in the churches so they can do great works for the Kingdom of God these days.
