I READ: 1 John 5:1-5
God has delivered a promise that He has defeated this world. This world symbolizes the devil and his wrongdoings. God has defeated him with an absolute victory. It is a good assurance for us that the devil has been subjugated. There is nothing impossible for us any longer; and we believe that miracles has come to pass. Because God has conquered this world, it means that we as believers in Jesus as the Son of God have overcome this world as well. We shall no longer have any fear. Don’t be deceived by the devil’s lies. He will try to give an inkling that we are not victors, that he still has power over us. Rebuke him blatantly, remind him that he has been defeated and no longer has the sting to attack our lives. We are victors through the blood of the lamb, the blood of Jesus Christ our God.
I DECLARE: 1 John 5:4 – For whatever is born of God overcomes the world. And this is the victory that has overcome the world: our faith.
I DO: What action will I take today after meditating on the Word of God?
I PRAY: Pray as guided by the Holy Spirit.
