ABRAHAM

I READ: Hebrews 6:11-20

Abraham was the father of faith. The Lord promised him that he would have a child in his old age. As he was waiting for the Lord’s promise to come to pass, the promise never came. Abraham became much older and it seemed so impossible for him to have a child. The book of Hebrews talks about how Abraham’s faith was amazing. He still believed in the Lord’s promise and he believed that the hope that the Lord was giving him will come to pass. He continued to wait and had faith. Abraham believed that God does not lie, that he would never deny His promise, and that the Lord is faithful with His promises. In the end, in God’s timing, Abraham had a son, Isaac.
I DECLARE: Hebrews 6:19-20 – This hope we have as an anchor of the soul, both sure and steadfast, and which enters the Presence behind the veil, where the forerunner has entered for us…

I DO: What action will I take today after meditating on the Word of God?

I PRAY: Pray as guided by the Holy Spirit.
